Question by poqle: What is the english name of the russian monastery in St. Petersburg?
I can’t find the english name for никольский монастырь on google anywhere. Apparently it has a mary with three arms or something like that. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think you’re talking about St. Nicholas Cathedral 1753-62 by architect Chevakinsky

Is the Monastery inside Saint Petersburg itself? If it is, then most likely it is the monastery adjacent to St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral – http://www.saint-petersburg.com/cathedrals/St-Nic…
If the monastery is outside Saint Petersburg, there is one 140 km away: http://palmernw.ru/stlad_nick/st_ladog_nickol.htm…
