Are we still enemies, how we were back when Russia was communist or are we trying to improve U.S. & Russia relations??? Thank You!!!

We are definitely not enemies, we are slowly warming to each other and that is a good thing in my mind. At first the US wanted Russia to blindly follow the capitalist path ignoring any problems that arose with it, Russian wanted US to stop its unilateral decision making process, listen to the UN and stop NATO expansion. With new presidents in both countries both nations are starting to compromise and the relationship is definitely. On a people level, Russian have no beef with Americans.
