Was Stalingrad a city of good omen for the soviets?

Question by : Was tsaryngrad ( later Stalingrad) a city of good omen for the soviets?
It was here that Joseph Stalin crushed the remnants of the white russians and so firmly established himself in politburo. It was here that the tide of Nazi invasion were turned by Nikita khruschev. It was also here that Brezhnev was able to transport Heavy industry from stalingrad to siberia with extreme efficiency that helped him rise in prominence in the communist party and later ultimate power. In other words the city gave soviets their three future leaders as well as protection from the nazis. Do you agree that tsaryngrad ( later Stalingrad) a city of good omen for the soviets?

The name of the city was “Tsaritsyn” not “tsaryngrad.”

When you consider that all three were dictators who eventually contributed to the demise of the USSR through their policies, I suppose not.
