Question by Matt Legend: Alexander Nevsky (movie)?
Was there a love story in this film? If so or if not, can somebody explain any roles of women within the movie, i have no means of watching it and dont need substantial information. Just anything with a woman doing anything that shows her as a strong or weak person, or representing the USSR. ANYTHING

It has been a while since I watched it (though it is a fine film with a wonderful score), but as I recall there is a soldier in Nevsky’s army who is sort of a nebbish who has a strong-willed girlfriend who dresses like a man in order to join the army and is very heroic. They celebrate the victory together.
