Were stalin and trotsky both communists?

Question by I hate you!~: Were stalin and trotsky both a communist? then what about dictatorship of stalin?
please explain to me i confused how stalin was a dictatorship and a communist? what is the diffence? and what did they believe to rule russia?

Stalin was a traitor to the Red Revolution and to the world proletariat’s Revolution, he was just the head of a restorationist Bureaucracy.
