Question by GrafZeppelin: Books on Rasputin and the Romanovs?
I am trying to find some sources for a reasearch paper about Rasputin and his influence over the Romanovs, but the vast array of sources makes narrowing down the options without reading them all very difficult. Does anyone know some good books which provide information specific to the relationship between Rasputin and the Romanov family, and the ways in which he influenced them?

That is going to be difficult. If it was my project I would start with some Library searches of Universities that have solid history upper grad programs.
Ole Miss would be my first choice. Followed by Kaplin then Colorado State.
Perhaps, you could get some thesis material to study, that would be more specific as to your needs.
I have always had a soft spot for Russian history-Just never seemed to have the time.

I find this era interesting aswell, there is lots of info on the net, but if you go onto amazon books, then and search romanov they have quite a few books. I know a lot of them center on the family rather than rasputin but Id say you will get enough to info. Also try a larger library and once you have the book names maybe they can order the books from another branch…
