What are some pure Russian mannerisms?

Question by bluedragonfly: What are some Russian mannerisms?
I’m playing a Russian girl (Tatyana in “Eugen Onegin”) and I need to know how to physicalize my character. What are some physical things that a Russian person (as opposed to an American) might do when talking?

You cant understand it from words. Find videos of it with russian actors and just copy Tatyana’s mannerism.

See the movie "War and Peace" (1956) c Audrey Hepburn. She played her role perfectly. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_and_Peace_(1956_…

    But…
    In this novel ever written!

Shy as a savage, silent, tearful,
wild as a forest deer, and fearful,
    Tatyana had a changeling look
in her own home. She never took
    to kissing or caressing father
or mother; and in all the play
of children, though as young as they,
she never joined, or skipped, but rather
in silence all day she'd remain
    ensconced beside the window-pane.
