What can I buy for a trip to Russia?

Question by Mighty Boosh: What can I buy for someone taking a trip to Russia?
I have a friend who is going to do a study abroad (15 weeks) in Volgograd, Russia. I want to get him something (he’s just a friend) fun, but I don’t know what. I wasn’t sure if there some kind of superstitious Russian thing that would make someone have a safe trip (like churches have their saints). Anyone have any ideas?

There are no any superstitious things in Russia (in addition to Christian cross). Only superstitious behaviour…
