Hitler did make friends with Stalin, and when Hitler invaded Poland Stalin occupied Eastern poland and hitler occupied the remainder of Poland. Hitler also signed a Non agression pact with Stalin, which in effect he promised not to Invade Russia, but tore the agreement up in 1941 and invaded Russia. This was a bad move for Hitler as his armies now had to fight on two fronts.

Firstly, I have to say everybody here fails at history. The USSR signed a Non-Aggression Pact with Germany, they agreed not to fight. That didn't last long though.

If the Germans had not invaded the Soviet Union I'm not sure the US would not have gotten involved in the war.

The world would have been split into three different spheres of influence. Fascist Europe, Communist Europe, and Democratic North America and possibly UK.

Possibly a fourth sphere with the Japanese Empire in Asia if the US chose to stay out of that as well. Fearing a German or Russian invasion they would have probably not wanted to fight the Japanese over Asia.

It would have been a three or four way cold war basically, a multi-polar world Filled with seedy alliances and a lot of paranoid people.

I could be wrong about that though.

For a start the US didnt win WW2, the Allies did, you insult all those millions of allied soldiers who died fighting the nazi's, and you insult every other allied nation involved in WW2, with such an ignorant statement. If USSR and Nazis were long term allies then they would have won the war, USA would not be able to deal with the highly skilled nazis or the murderous USSR army.

1st answer the English language is derived from German.
