Question by It Man: What kind of science and technology and did Peter I bring back to Russia from the West?
This is a homework question from school. Any kind of science and technology having to do with Russia between 1500 and 1715 would be nice too. Thanks.

A lot of new ideas to advance Russia from a peasant country to an industrialized country. He personally was working in the ship building industry in Holland (Netherlands) and was very active to transfer that specific technology to Russia.

Shipbuilding. The Netherlands was the most technically-advanced for this in Peter the Great's time.
