Race Bannon says
That's the problem with the United States, we are the United States. Our sovereignty does not extend to Russia. Russia has obviously had some obstacles to face, and Putin has definitely helped them. This isn't the Cold War anymore, we should work with Russia as an ally. Most Americans are incredibly hypocritical. It seems that we can do whatever the hell we want but any other nation protecting their interest is a terrible thing. We can put missiles in Eastern Europe but God forbid a nation that actually has territory in Eastern Europe be worried and want to feel secure. We can invade a country for no reason but if the Russians invade a nation oppressing citizens of their country then it's terrible. I'm not saying Russia is right in all of these beliefs but the double standard is ridiculous. Russia is a sovereign nation just like the U.S. and with that comes the right to protect their own interests. We need to treat Russia as an ally and not be such hypocrites. I mean, if Russia did something completely hostile and ridiculous than obviously we have the right to respond but nothing like that is happening. The Russian people for the most part love Putin, so let's just assume that the Russian people know what is best for Russia.
Don't really ca says
Let Russia worry about it. We have a bigger problem here with Obama as our next president.

1. Yes I am aware….. Putin is a KGB hardliner who wants to bring back the USSR in all it's glory (??)
2. Yes, definitely. this whole thing with Georgia is just a prelude to the trouble that lies ahead for ALL of the former satellites ( Estonia, Latvia, Belarus etc) And this will not be the last time Russia will use oil blackmail to turn western Europe against us.
3. It would be consistent with other political offices….. One of the big deficits we have with our foreign policy is that it changes every 8 years……other countries can not depend on us to keep our national word…..today's friend is tomorrows enemy….. the President…..like any other politician should serve just as long as he does a good job
BTW I also think the Congress should NOT be allowed to vote themselves a pay raise……that also should be left to the voters
