Question by voyager78906: In the film Annastasia, Rasputin sings a song with the word Dasvidanya in it. What does it mean?
It has been bugging me for a long long time, but I can not find what the word means. I know that it Russian, but nothing comes up. Can anyone help me out?

Hi, dasvidanya is a Russian word meaning goodbye or farewell…There is an Indian movie in the same name 🙂

I found some information on wikipedia that may help. It looks like Dasvidanya is a play on "the Russian phrase 'do svidaniya,' meaning good bye." This information came from a wiki article about a movie called Dasvidaniya. Does "good bye" fit into the context of the song? I've seen the movie, but it was a long time ago.
