Question by Brett: what would happen if russia launched nukes at the us or another nato country?
if russia and/or china attacked the U.S. or another nato country, what sequence of events would follow? or if russia or china launched nukes at canada? one or the other or both.

Submarines would surface and counter launch. Our land based nuclear silo's would be taken out if China or Russia struck Yellowstone and caused the SuperVolcano to erupt, burying our nuclear silos.
Our B-2 bomber is irrelevant as we hired a guy from India to work for Northrup Grumman to build the B-2 and he sold the B-2 designs to China. He's on trial in Hawaii right now, Noshir Gowadia. He also designed China stealth cruise missiles and China could possibly nullify our carrier battle groups.
That's what we get for bringing in foreigners to work in our Defense Labs on very important military hardware. We lose.
Right now we have a 73 ship Naval Armada from many nations off of China's coast poking a stick in the hornets nest.
