What if Russia had dropped a nuke on Berlin?

Question by : What if Russia had dropped a nuke on Berlin?
Hypothetical question: What if Oppenheimer had been hit by a bus before he started the nuclear project for America? What if he had never gotten the chance to arm America with nukes?

Let’s say that Germany hadn’t surrendered and the war kept going until Russia had nuclear power?

Even more hypothetically, what if they had decided to use it?

The repercussions would be pretty massive.

I know a lot of things would have to fall in line for it to happen, but the question remains:

What if Russia ended the war?

the British would have developed the Bomb before the Russians the Only reason the Russians tested a Bomb in 1952 the stole all the British Canadian and american technology from the Manhattan Project

and the only reason we had 3 bombs to drop on the Japanese was because the British sent 30 worlds leaders to Los Alamos In Late 1944

so Hypothetically the Russians would not have had the Bomb

Russia didnt care about the Nuclear technology in the 1930s and they only found out about it in 1945 after the bomb thats when they launched their mission to steal the technology. Germany had a nuclear bomb but it was in very high stages. they had a nuclear reactor around Stuttgart but the bomb was captured by the americans and it was kept a secret and sent to the US for testing. not clear what they did with the bomb either dismantled it or dropped it on Japan.
Russia did end the war by capturing Berlin and the west didnt put pressure on Russia because they thought WWIII would start in july of 1945 and if it started they would lose since the Western Allies didnt have any heavy tanks while the russians had the IS and they soon developed the IS3 (based on the King Tiger and the plans to make the E-75) and then the IS4 which was based on the technology that was recovered from capturing the Maus

If Russia only had the nuclear weapons and ended the war, Russia would be recognized as the World Power. So then USA will try to steal the intels about nuclear weapons from Russia then they both will build a lot of nukes. Then eventually, the Cold War will start in a different way since Russia wanted to spread Communism through out the globe and USA will still keep trying to outstrength Russia.
