Question by Kieron J: What is teaching English in Moscow like? What is a good Salary?
I like nightlife, so factor that into the equation. Please don’t just tell me Moscow is the most expensive city in the world. I know that. Give me a little more info. Thanks!
haha, yeah I think forty rubles is a little low. I have seen a couple ads for 20-40 USD an hour.

Ok, look. I grew up in Russia for most of my life (in a small town of Pskov), and i now live in America. I had a tutor that taught me English over the course of 6 months (i believe, maybe it was 7). I remember he was paid forty rubles an hour…but that was years ago. Considering the worth of a dollar has changed greatly over the last decade, you should probably try to contact some other tutors that are in Moscow right now and find out what how they are working and how much they are paid on a regular basis.

My aunt she taught English in Moscow. That is because her husband works for the embassy there. I don't know if she got paid well but I hear that teachers don't get paid very well in Moscow. Also doctors don't get paid well.
