I can’t say for sure which is his most famous, but it seems that almost every art history website I’ve looked him up on has this picture readily available.

His Improvisation and Composition pieces. He did so many series of these paintings…

I think Der Blaue Reiter (The Blue Rider) is his most famous work since it was used as the name for the art movement he and some others started.
