Question by Lexmark: What kind of wheels for Lada Samara?
Hello guys, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with more information concerning what kind of wheels and tires to buy for my Lada Samara.
As i was told i need 13-15 inch wheels, but have no clue as what kind of tires i should get. Since my car is in a very bad condition I am not planning to spend quite much money therefore i am searching for used tires. What shall i ask for when i get to the garage?
Thank you in advance.

You to have the correct tires for your rims. If you have a 13″ rim, you’ll need a 13″ tire
I suggest staying away from used tires. The problem with tires is that rubber ages and becomes less flexible and pliable as it becomes older. Tire experts suggests that tires over 5 or 6 years old should be replaced, regardless of their mileage or remaining tread depth.
To see the date a tire was manufactured, look for the DOT number stamped on the sidewall followed by a box containing 4 numbers. Those numbers represent the week (first 2 number) and the year (last 2 numbers) of manufacture. So, for example, if you see 2603, the tire was manufactured on the 26th week of 2003.
I can understand not wanting to spend money on a vehicle on its last legs but, in my opinion, your safety is worth spending an extra few bucks to get a new tire which will handle so much better compared to an, out of date, used one.
