Modern Russian language music is basically American pop translated.
Edit: Noa, that is not 100% Russian music. That is American style music (pop, hip-hop) that is simply in Russian language. Which is exactly the point I was making. 100% Russian music are songs like “kalinka”, “korobushka”, “chernyj voron”, “oj to ne vecher”, “ochi chernye” and “smuglyanka moldovanka”.
