Question by Tim: What race of people live in Eastern Russia?
In the Eastern half of Russia that lies in Asia, are the inhabitants East-Asian-looking or mostly white? I’m sure there are lots of white people there because of the Russian government but I would assume there would be lots of Asian Russians too.

It depends where. Asian Russia is absolutely massive. I live in Siberian Russia, near Tyumen. They are mostly ‘white’, ie. ethnic Russian with a few Tatars and Kazakhs mixed in

Ethnic Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians are all white, no matter where they live. The ones living in the Asian part of Russia intermixed with the local Mongoloid population to the same manner as other European colonists in all parts of the world did (with the exception of some Latin American countries). However, the numbers of ethnic minorities is steadily growing, while the Russian population is dwindling. Besides, immigration from nearby states is frequent, particularly in the easternmost parts of Russia where it borders with China. I would assume they make up around 20% of population in major settlements, though it varies greatly.
You might want to check Wikipedia for exact numbers, basically every ethnicity native to the Asian parts of Russia looks Asian.

indigenous people over there are mostly Turkic and Finnish, some Mongols. in the Far East regions there are small groups of primordial population of Siberia which are close to Native Americans (anthropologically). but the most of modern population are Slavs (Russians, Ukrainians) which moved there from the European part of the former Russian Empire.

Mostly Slavs, but near the borders there are a lot of Kazachs, Tadjiks, Uzbeks, etc.
