Question by Arthur S: What should I talk about in a Leon Trotsky tribute speech?
In the 3 body paragraphs? So far I’m thinking of talking about him leading the red army to victory for body paragraph 2 and his exile and assassination in body paragraph 3. Does that sound good? I need one more big thing to talk about. And what’s a good attention getter?

Trotsky; the man who knew what he believed in and even after it was too dangerous to live in his own country; still believed in the ideals for which he fought. Whether you agree or disagree with those ideals, you cannot deny the man was true to his own conscience and principles.

Interesting… i always thought he was killed by an icepick, but Wikipedia says it was the "pick of an ice axe", which is a heck of a lot more gruesome.
If that doesn't get someone's attention, I don't know what will!
good luck in your speech!
