Question by SallyMay: What was Russia’s main goal by using the 11 spies and did the russian spies accomplish anything?
I mean I have read the news on this story. I don’t understand exactly what they, the 11 Russian Spies, was trying to get or who they was spying on and for what reason was they spying? I guess I mean to say what was the goal and what would have benefited Russia by sending these spies? Thanks for your answers.

Well you can Bet your Bottom Dollar there not the only ones who Spy on other country, Americans would just use more Politically or “Comfy” Words like “Insurgent” True,no?
My Personal Thoughts is They Haven’t Revolved What they have Recovered From Spying to the US and UK etc..
Or some one is trying to Ruin Russia Reputation, by taking Russian/American Citizens and Placing false Information to make them look like spy’s, I know Yusif and Seronzia Confessed, But everyone has there price Right, and Since there Being Shipped Back To Russia, They Have Nothing To Lose.
Of Course, Our Economies Growth Rate is Slowing and that Always a motive for Spyinh.

Technically, they are not spies (as they were not caught on acquiring sensitive data). They were in 'sleeping mode' this time – just building their careers etc.

THEY HAVE OR THEY haven't. Hard to tell. One thing for sure this all went way to easy. Russi'a spies were always dangerous and here suddenly FBI find =s not 1 but 10 spies.
I think catching those guys was a cover for something else and dare to say that The BIG boys (dangerous agents) are in the US and doing theur job. To do their job they need to gather info and rhose ten were probably doing just that.

I don't exactly know what sort of information these 11 Russian spies are trying to get. But the very funny thing is that, according to the news, they collected their information by browsing through the internet. Imagine that… from the internet, a medium accessible to just about anybody in this world. Also according to the same news, these spies had never even visited any US place of strategic importance (like Pentagon building in Washington, White House, US military facilities, for example). All they did was to surf US internet websites for tidbits of information (all done inside the comfort of their own homes). The laptop computers confiscated from the spies contained nothing but general information about US cities, dollar currency rates, weather reports, etc.). Nothing was found to have any significance in relation to intelligence secrets.
What the US haven't discovered yet are the far more dangerous Mossad agents who had already infiltrated many top positions in the US government, especially those involved in critical policy making decisions and American military establishments.
