What was Trotsky’s position on the Jews?

Question by Aaron Zvirman: What was Leon Trotsky’s position on the Jews?
I know he was Jewish himself, but he claimed to be atheist. What was his position on the Jewish people. Was it anti-Semetic like stalin or friendly like Lenin?

As you say,Trotsky was an atheist,and his ideological position was that all religion was harmful but if an individual gave their first loyalty to the Party,then previous religious beliefs were immaterial.
