J. S. says
The problems were that the other characters, we will call them the "Western Powers," did not want to share the world stage with a Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and they sent an Allied Expeditionary Force (from many nations) into Russia to stop the Bolsheviks from appearing on the world stage, and/or to put Russia back into the war.
Another problem with your question is: Lenin and the Bolsheviks had not completely taken control over Russia in 1918 – a three-year Civil War followed in which over 8 million people died as a result, before Lenin was truly able to consolidate all power to the Soviets.

First of all, I don't understand your question.
Second of all, Lenin didn't took over Russia for that many years. He died in 1924. I will define the list you have there for you.
Lenin – Like I already said, he died in 1924. And he turned Russia in the Soviet Union known as USSR.
USSR – An abbr for Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
Stalin – He changed his last name to Stalin, means "The man of steel". It fit him pretty well because he is responsible for MORE than 20 millions lives. He came into power after Lenin.
