What were some Constantin Stanislavski’s ideas?

Question by Suga C: Constantin Stanislavski’s ideas?
what were they?

Answer by Dominique
His theory was to make your acting as natural as possible, to bring emotions that you’ve experienced to your character. In short, that’s pretty much what his theory/method is. If you want to read some of his work, I’m sure that you can find some of his work at the library or at a bookstore or something like that.

Constantin Stanislavsky's "An Actor Prepares" is his most famous book for beginners. You can find it on Amazon.com for a very cheap price, that's where you should start.
