Bus or train? Is it dangerous by train?

There are no direct trains departing early in the morning from Moscow. If you want to see at least a part of the landscape you should take the train departing at 12:35 from Moscow to arrive at Kiev at 01:03 late at night. If you go for a quicker travel you should take the night train leaving from Moscow at 23:23 to arrive at Kiev at 08:00. It has only four intermediate stops but operates every second day only.
