What’s the difference between White Russian and Russian language?

So is there a difference. I’ve seen on Facebook people put as their language White Russian and some Russian so I’m wondering what is White Russian?

White Russian is the language spoken in Belarus, formerly part of the Soviet Union. It’s closely related to Russian but has much more open vowels, and several differences in vocabulary. Google it.
