Do you mean the Russian nesting dolls? They are
matryoshka (pronounced matrooshka). There are quite a few online sources, for example,

Every town in southeast Alaska is full of thousands of them (Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan, etc) Especially Sitka since it was Russian before it was American. They're in every gift shop possible since they're from Russia and Alaska is close to Russia.
