Question by Dylan: How come America is always trying to make Russia look like the bad guy?
Here’s an example that comes of the top of my head.
When Georgia invaded Russia every single mainstream new channel in America was saying that Russia was invading Georgia.
Also, why do so many Americans hate communism when a large amount only believe the propaganda they hear from the media.
Do you still believe Russia invade Georgia?
Georgia attacked Russia, so Russia defended their borders.

last time i checked South Ossetia was not a part of Russia. Georgia was invaded by Russian troops.
I hate Communism because of its affects on the population. The cult of stalinism and Leninism has lead to the death and torture of countless millions.
Russia’s borders are not in North Ossetia, Russian forces were conducting an act of Imperialism by securing more territory in Ossetia.

Ok. Osetia is not a Russian border, but they are allies. When Georgia started firing at schools,hospitals with little kids nobody was showing that on US tv, but when "bad" Russians came in to protect their allies all the news where on.
Communism everyone talks about Stalin this Stalin that.Yes he caused millions of deaths but HE WON THE WAR!! When he came to power Russia was devistated by ww1 and needed an iron hand.
After war communism was the best. Healthcare was free, all universities ran by government and were also free, apartments cost about 5% of pay and most importantly Russia was still respected.
Now democracy "freedom" healthcare is fucked, education is fucked, employment is fucked and Banks also fuck us constantly. If you have insurance they'll take your house to pay emergency room bills, you need permit for anything, so basically FREEDOM is just voicing opinion that no one gives a fuck about .
And lastly, why America tries to shit Russia is because Russia is still a superpower and now there alies with another superpower CHINA.

no russia attacked georgia, oh or are you just saying they didnt because the region where ALL the conflict took place said they didnt want to be part of georgia (south osseia)? why would a small and not powerful country attack the largest country on the planet? no reason to do so as they would be crushed they were just trying to put down a rebellion. and communism failed, it works on paper but not in practice. i have studied communism and in russia it was a complete fail everything failed due to poor leadership and the lack of motivation. if i was a communist worker i know that i will be paid the same no matter how hard i work so i will work only enough not to get in trouble. now if i was a capatalist worker i have the insentive to work for higher pay and premotion so i work harder. communism just does not work as man is too selfish and greedy. its not propaganda when it is true, there were major riots in many soviet union countries as they wanted to break away and be a democracy with the chance of not being communist. people hate communism people of the gulag camps that stalin set up and had millions of people massacred in, they hate it because many countries have suffered because of it, it almost caused world war 3 (the cuban missile crisis), and most importantly because it does not work in large scale situations
russia is cutting america up where ever they go in europe so of course americans are goin to be resentful. i cant be bothered to put anymore i might later bye

America is always trying to make other countries look bad to distract people from how crappy America is, I would have more civil rights living in Canada than I do here and if I lived in France I'd have awesome health care, but the people running and ruining this country dont want any of us to think about that. America may be the richest country in the world but its also one of the most abusive to its own citizens.

Well, as far as the media goes…..that's the only way Americans can get any information on it. So, if every news channel says that Russia is invading Georgia, what are we supposed to think?
As far as Communism goes…..it is a great idea, but the only thing that isn't figured into the whole equation is the fact that PEOPLE are responsible for maintaining a Communist state. Cuba has been in shambles since they became a Communist state and Fidel Castro has been in power, North Korea is run by a senile madman, China has been in the spotlight for human rights issues and poverty, and Stalin used his secret police to terrorize the citizens into conforming to his own idea of Communism.
Other forms of government have their pros and cons. Socialist governments tax their business owners very heavily, Democracy takes FOREVER to tackle problems, and Dictators are generally not liked by their own citizens.

it all has to do with the cold war. back then the soviet union and america were the top 2 superpowers of the world always competing for power (ex: space race and arms race). there was MAJOR tension between these two countries from after world war 2 all the way to 1991.

Your right, the U.S. doesn't have to make Russia look like the bad guy, they do a pretty good job of that with out any help.
