Why did the troops mutiny during the russian revolution? like why did they end up supporting the working class side and not take orders from the tzar anymore?
i am of course talking about the revolution of 1917, the February revolution.

many if the troops had been drafted into WW 1
because of that there was a major food shortage for civilians and the army
that is one reason
