Question by Machlath: Why does eating Borscht at night make me feel sick in the morning?
I ate Borscht last night an hour before I went to sleep, and now I feel gross nausea in the morning after…WHY?!!? 🙁
I think it’s the Borscht because every time it’s the same feeling after eating Borscht before sleep…

why do you think it’s borscht? Maybe anything else you are last night, last lunchtime and even last morning. Other possible explanations are: your borscht was not fresh; some ingredient in your borscht was not fresh; during the say you ate or drank something else that was not fresh; you have some illness started, and nausea is a first symptom.
Yet another reason: beans and cabbage. Their is bacteria in your stomach, which lives on them, and, after eating them, deliver up gas. That is why beans and cabbage are more gaseous than other vegetables and legumes. So, during the night you were in a horizontal position, and the gases were pushing things out of your stomach – thus, nausea.
