Because the Tsar represents a class-based system. Communism is about equality through equal pay, so obviously they wanted to erase the wealthy Tsars from memory.

The Tsar was the rightful ruler of Russia, all the world recognized the Tsar's authority and government. As long as there were living descendants there would be those that would try to put them back in power. To prevent this, you kill all descendants.

Because he was an asswhooole (to avoid censorship). Look up the Tsar's role. It involved wholesale slavery.

My guess: because nobody liked him. That would be why they overthrew his government and killed him and his family.
