Question by punchy308: Will a standard ak47 stock fit a straight cut mak 90 receiver?
I’m wanting to change the thumb hole stock on my mak 90 and I was wondering if a standard ak 47 stock will fit. Please no assumptions. I’m looking for answers only from people who have done this.

I am trying to remember if some of the straight cut stocks had something in the rear of the receiver that could block the regular AK stock. I know the regular AK stock would even fit the slant cut mak 90 stocks, but there would be a unsightly gap where the inletting didn't fit right. If you could post a picture of it, I could tell you right away if it would fit or not.
I also remember that the screw that came with the thumb hole stock will be too short to work with a regular AK pistol grip. So order a new screw too when you order your pistol grip.

I dont beleive it will fit because the rear of the receivers are shaped differently. I'm sure that you could find a stock designed to fit the Mak 90 if you did some searching.

Considering that the chinese is stamped yes. The parts are interchangable. Although the stock may need some fitting.
