Question by Valentine: Will Russia be the hockey favorites in the 2010 winter olympic games?
The have NHL stars like Ovechkin, Malkin, Kovalchuk, and Datsyuk to go along with players like Morozov and Radulov who play in Russia. Plus they have strong goaltenders like Bryzgalov, Nobakov, Khabibulin and the rookie Varlamov. Are they the favorites?

Canada playing on home soil will go in as favourites; I'd put the Russians as second favourites.
If this tournament were in Europe I'd put the Russian team as favourites, but on home soil…Canada will be tough.
Canada could ice a "B" team that would be competitive.
