Well, due to it's vast resource, russia is noway going to sell siberia to china, but i think that in the near future, china will tries to get outer manchuria through diplomacy or threat. And later, invaded russia and take over Siberia. Which might be easy for the chinese, becauses moscow is so far from siberia, and russia got the cascasus to worry about. And there's a lot of turkic and mongol autonomous movement going on in siberia, and they might support china.

Another stereotype?
I would say it is more likely Russia will take some of China'land.

Siberia was taken over by communists once before; I don't think they want a repeat performance by communists who don't even speak Russian.
V.Klitschko says
No,USA will sell Alaska to China.
Jatin says
Siberia is rich in natural resources so I don't think Russia would consider selling it to China….but who knows expansionist China might be having plans to annex siberia in future.
Slava T says
Is this question just about "little extra room" because the Chinese are dying out or about somebody's wish to have a piece of Russia's resources? As far as I know China also has some scarcely populated areas in the northern and western parts of the country. So, there are no problems with the "room" as such in China. If your question is about "vital space" for China it reminds me about another "vital space" theory, namely, the Nazi's one. The guys also started with talking about "some extra room for the German race".
I can't imagine the situation when Russia might voluntarily consider the idea to sell Siberia. For comparison, if you are aware of the Russian-Japanese relations think about the situation with those Kuril's islands which are now Russian territory while the Japanese claim it as their "Northern territory".
Nick Nick says
The vast majority of Russia's mineral wealth – oil, gas, diamonds, gold etc etc – are all in Siberia. Even China couldn't afford to buy all that in one go from Russia if the Russians would even consider selling an area of such strategic importance
mrkc says
Never. There is to much natural resource.
Cossak says
Siberia has 40 millions.
Dmitry says
Russia must withdraw its Alaska from the U.S. and sell it to China.
