Question by cfa_pilot: Suggestions for writing a biography on Alexei Romanov?
I’m going to write a first person biography (historical fiction) on Alexei Romanov. Any suggestions on how the format of it should be? How the chapters/sections should be divided?
I was thinking about making it about 14 chapters.

Well if it is first person you could always write it like it was his journal and have the first chapter be someone who discovered it opening it for the first time. Then detailing how his parents or an aid told him how excited his parents were when he was born how devastated his mother was when he inherited hemophilia from her, and how Alexei felt about the stories. Compared to how he felt about growing up.
I suggest breaking the chapters up by the time line, that way you don’t get lost. But I would write the story first then go back and break the story up into chapters, you may find something you want to get rid of after you re-read the story and it could change the way your chapters are formatted.
Good luck.
