A train from Latvia to St. Petersburg?

Question by Lance M: s there a train that will take your from Latvia to St. Petersburg Russia?
I want to ride a train around Eastern Europe and was wondering if there is a Train that would stop in St. Petersburg Russia.

The German rail site finds one overnight train from Riga Latvia to St Petersburg Russia:
http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en?
Just enter the names of the cities and set the date.
If you want to travel after mid december it might be that the info is not available yet, in that case, just try it for a random date this year. As far as I can see it is a daily train, which make it very likely that it will run next year too.
