    Being Russian myself I might suggest the following:
    – as somebody said before, Russians can say something negative about their country, but they'll never let any foreigner do the same.
    – russians might seem unfriendly, but it's only because they don't know you. We normally don't smile to people we don't know. If you get to know us, we're very hospitable, friendly. Russian people help each other a lot, and friendship is very meaningful in Russian culture. You can always rely on your russian friend. Friendship is very strong among russian people. Friendship means: I help you – you help me, I support you – you support me if needed.
    – russians are very good workers. They are very responsible and helful.
    – russians are smart, very smart. You can hardly meet a stupid russian. Many of us have University degrees and russian specialists are very well-known and needed all over the world.
    – russians are patriots of their country and are very proud of its victories.
    – russians have great sense of humor.
    -russians can hold a good conversation and normally are good at politics.
    – russians have good taste in fashion. They love to be dressed nicely.
    – russians also appreciate good music and art.
    – russians are very religious and they believe in God and attend churches on big holidays.
    – russians believe in signs, like "knocking on wood", etc.
    -russians can also manage their budget well and know how to spend money
    – some russian men like to drink vodka
    -holidays in Russia are celebrated at big table with lots of food and many relatives.
    -family is also very important for russian people.

    Hospitality;

    what we call "wideness of the soul", meaning having big hearts, not doing anything in halves, everything on a grand scale;

    unmercenary;

    if we smile – it's genuine, we really mean it, we actually are happy and have something to smile about.

    I like their sense of humour, and the high level of commitment they give to their jobs. They're also friendly, warm and easy to get along with once you get to know them. And they are really appreciative people – as in, if you do something good for them, they'll be genuinely thankful and you can be quite sure that they will return that favour once the opportunity arises. That's why I love them so much.

    You mean positive features ?
    Today is the nine of may – dienn pobieda – uvazhaemie tovarisshi – spasibo za vashe borbi protiv fascisma

    If precisely today you were in Russia you would see on of the major features for russians – pride for their country, history,culture, and Victory in WW II –

    Otherwise, a deeeeeeep sense of friendship, and mutual trust – you cannot do anything alone in Russia

    Otherwise, wonderful sensitive people, which means great artists in all pôssible fields –

    Otherwise incredible discussion skill – great players – great
    strategists – great computer and engineering + nauka (science) skills

    Negatively I would say : stubborn, xenophobe (AND xenophile) counterfeiters,/ -as all people believing hard in their own opinions – / do not change their mind – their aim in a discussion is : HAVE THE LAST WORD – always

    They may not love their country and even tell something bad about it but they won't let any foreigner talk bad about Russia, national pride is one of the best characteristics.

    Desire to help and support your friends and family.
