Check out this site called Kayak.com. It shows the lowest fare from all airlines.

I personally need more info to even answer this question. Theres, different airports in NY and Moscow, dates, times, other options. Its really hard to say.

You can always check this site out that I found a few weeks ago and then enter in the info yourself since you probably have a good idea about the dates and all that stuff

Btw just as a little tip… if you find 3 or 4 good sites that have good prices, check them out through out the week.. some sites adjust prices on tuesdays others do it on thursdays. So if you find tickets one day on one site for $ 500 try again the next day, it might be cheaper.

Aeroflot is a Russian airline and very cheap to fly. Most of their planes are brand new Boeings 747. I flew in February of 08' NY/Moscow – Moscow/NY for $ 450 round trip. On the way back there was some kind of problem with my ticket so I was upgraded to 1st class for only $ 40, sweet. There were only a few people in 1st class on the way back and majority of the plane was empty, nice and relaxing flight back to NY. The prices will probably somewhat higher during the summer, I remember I had to pay about $ 900 (still the cheapest) to fly last August, but that's their peak flying months and seats are not always available. Aeroflot has the cheapest non stop flights to and from Moscow, you might not find cheaper non stop anywhere else. This is because they buy their fuel from Russian oil companies at much cheaper prices and can make healthy profit, unlike major American airlines that are loosing money, charging customers more and are claiming bankruptcies one after another. And the service is amazing on Aeroflot, plus the food is great, not just some frozen crap they serve on American major carriers. The majority of stewardesses are also young and pretty 🙂
