Question by Aless: Is it true that Frida Kahlo took credit for Leon Trotsky’s assassination?
I read it on a website once but now that I actually need the source I can’t find it. So please put a link with your response – thanks!

When Trotsky was assassinated in 1940, both Kahlo and her husband Diego Rivera were implicated, but no solid evidence of their involvement was ever established.
In later years, they would boast how they lured Trotsky to Mexico to kill him (Rivera had sponsored Trotsky’s move); but this is likely to have been little more than empty bluster.
Especially considering she had an affair with him while he and his wife were living with them!
