Did you ever tired and like borsch?

Question by Green Panda: Do you like borsch? Ever tired it?
Just had this question pop into my mind.

Ever tried borsch? Do you cook it?

Any secret recipes?

I had an all Canadian female neighbor who would cook it. What are you?

I'm of German and Italian heritage……My grandmother used to make borscht all the time, and it's basically just cold beet soup……..but the recipes are kind of like salsa or potato salad…….there are as many variations as there are kitchens out there……When I was in Leningrad (then the USSR) I had a room temperature version with meat in it, which was very good…….Enjoy!!!
