for transit plans no need anything. i think you traveling first time in transit planes. listen you wont allow to moscow airport, after landing in moscow the airport workers will ask you to go to transit planes and you have to wait for plane for one or more hours, you have to go to gate number mentioned in ticket and then go to check in baggage ,wait for fight arrival then go inside the flight so nothing to worry, for you moscow is just for flight transfer, while you coming to moscow there will be two broads ,one to transit planes and another to exist of airport, so you have to go to transit planes and they will check only your ticket and nothing else. no need any extra visa for this.don’t worry i am frequent traveler in transit planes. trust me. in moscow they will check your air ticket alone because you not allowed to enter go outside airport it is like a bus stop ,thats all. carry your visa and passport along with ticket until you reach your destination.

If you normally need a visa to visit Russia, you'd have to get a transit visa for transiting though a Russian airport.
