not only that
after about 1 month trip and and a car change due to some roads condition, virtually penniless (unless you have some money wired to you), you can drive all the way back

Of course there are no other countries on the way from Moscow to Vladivostok. They both are on the main territory of Russia.
But the roads are really bad there and the climate is pretty severe. It's not really safe and it'll take you tons of time.

Since both cities are in Russia then if you follow the route of the Trans-Siberia railway it could be done.
