It’s depends on hotel and food. You can get really good hotels in Moscow or St Petersburg downtown but there are too expensive
even to compare to American standarts. The middle class hotels cost about 200 $ per day. Also, it’s possible to find something cheaper about 100 $ but location might be not really good. It’s easier make friend in Russia who can find a hotel for you or you can find some advertisments and call them to ask your questions about meals and price. Many people say that it’s expensive to stay in Russia…it’s depends on…but you should know where you want to stay first.
