Question by john: How much of Russia’s private economy is controlled by the mafia? Stated owned?
I’m writing an essay about the mafia in Russia, and i didn’t know how much private economy the Russian mafia owns. How much does the state own?

About half the Russian economy is controlled by the Russian mob which is mostly (Jewish at the top). Them old Bolsheviks still screwing the Russian.

Not much of the mafia left in Russia. In some regions corrupt policemen and other regulators are the 'legal mafia': if businessman lacks some papers (there are lots of regulatory like certification etc in Russia) – then they pay them some 'taxes'.
Despite many fairytales if business is fully legal and transparent – no one will rob you.
