£140m something.. chelsea was really financially unstable at that time.. then he payed all of chelsea's debts so chelsea wont have to deal with monthly interests rates on their loan debts. then he invested so much on transfer money, their academy, training pitch, scouting, etc. chelsea is one of a few clubs who now has 0 debt. the other one i know is a.c. milan. barcelona still has around £20m in debt.
