How to get from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to Sheremetyevo Airport?

Question by Mary M: How do I get from Domodedovo Airport to Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow?
How much does it cost? How long does it take? I travel with an electric scooter that can be taken apart to fit into a car trunk.

When I had to go between the two airports I traveled on the bus (which after traffic ended up taking a little under 3 hours). However, it was fairly cheap costing me under 250R. The bus I used is listed on the website cited below.

    Another option is a taxi. They are run by a mafia but will get you there quickly and safely. The last time I did it, ran me $ 100 and took about 100 minutes. Money talks there, if you have the cash they will take care of you and your scooter.

    Well, if you need a scooter to get around, it would be very, very difficult to travel around the city. Moscow is NOT handicapped friendly at all. The metro and train system are pretty cheap. A ticket on the metro is a dollar or less. The train tickets are more expensive. If you cannot walk for an extended period of time, however, this is probably not the way for you. You really should be able to read some Russian as well to take the metro system. It's really confusing if you can't read the signs, i.e. color coded lines aren't always marked, you go through three different stations to get to one. . . etc. Unfortunately, a taxi might be your only option if you cannot walk for a long time or cannot read Russian. This will be monstrously expensive. You'd be lucky to get from one to the other for less than fifty dollars, especially if you can't speak any Russian. . . I noticed higher prices when my friends tried to get rides speaking in English. Oh, and make a deal before you take off and don't pay until you're at your destination. It might help if you have a letter or list showing where you want to go, in Russian. Международный Аэропорт Шереметьево = Sheremetyevo. Know which terminal you need; 1 is for domestic flights, and 2 is for international. Duration would depend on traffic. . . in other words, really long unless you get a semi-suicidal driver. If the problems listed above, take the advice of the other people. If the language barrier is the only one, just be sure to have everything you need written down in Russian so you can ask for help. I noticed that the nicer somebody's suit (and especially shoes) were, the more likely they would speak English. Enjoy your trip!

    Also, the Way to Russia website above is an excellent resource, but be careful, it hasn't been updated in three years.

    So. look at me-
    Domodedovo -> Moscow(undeground station Paveletskaya) by train (40-min) – about 250 rubls
    Undeground cost 15-25 rubls (i'm sorry i don't know coz use car)- 30 min if somebody help you, may be you spend more time ))) I think max 50 min
    Moscow (undeground station is Savelovskaya) – Sheremetyevo Airport – by train – 250 rubls – 30-40 min

    So we have about 525r eq $ 30
