Well first of all , Moscow isn’t a country , it’s Russia’s capital city
I wouldn’t use ‘insult’ , I think they simply pointed out (in a sarcastic way) how americanized is everything and how powerful is America’s influence (which isn’t always good) over Europe
They didn’t do the same thing with Moskau though , they kinda praise Moscow in that song ” sie ist alt und trotzdem schön ” = it’s still the most beautiful city
there are some sarcastic lines in the song though..
