Could it be that Russia is going to shoot down the US troops who are in their airspace?

Nope. That's not it at all..seeing as how that would spark WW III. We are allies these days.. that and I'm sure we trading something fair in return for air space usage…. well that and I'm sure Russia wouldn't mind seeing Afghanistan put in it's place… they are a big part of the reason Russia went bankrupt.
