Question by hilal_arshad91: Tsar Alexander I and the Congress of Vienna?
Ok so i’ve found out most of Tsar Alexander I’s backround, but i wanted to know what he exactly wanted in Vienna and why. Also what he gained from Vienna.

He wanted control of Eastern Europe, in particular of Poland. He got most of what he wanted apart from the Grand Duchy of Poznan which went to Prussia and Krakow which became a free city. Russia also gained control of Finland.
