Question by Lem: Name this Soviet era donut shop in St Petersburg, Russia?
I was in St Petersburg a few weeks ago, and my local guides took me to a small shop near the Nevsky prospect that sold coffee and donuts. The story was that this place was a historical landmark from the soviet days that was still doing business. The store had only one choice of donut, and you could get coffee one way – with milk and sugar. They jokingly remarked that there was of course only one choice – like any good soviet era establishment.
Can anyone name this place for me, please?
